Artist

The artist's credo:

"Painting is a necessity and a vocation for me, but art is not my religion. I am a human being first and a painter second. A painter cannot create in isolation from reality. A painting has to have a need and a desire ... I am, therefore I paint. I love, I paint ... therefore ... I am."

As the artist herself says, an artist cannot break away from reality, and this loose connection with reality is beautifully reflected in her expressive landscapes. The artist pays great attention to the sky and its elements, the low horizon lines giving way to the drama in the skies. The impression is further enhanced by the reflections of the sky on the surface of the water and the soft, gentle shapes of the clouds.
