More about this artwork

The painting portrays an old window with a rugged, distressed wooden frame bleached by time. The upper section of the window contains two smaller panes, both rendered in muted tones suggesting perhaps a curtain or obscured glass obscuring the view inside or out. The lower section hosts larger panes adorned with intricate patterns resembling frost or tendrils of vines, featuring shades of blue, grey, and touches of purple, evoking a sense of something organic growing over or within the glass. The window itself seems anchored in a wall bearing similar signs of weathering, with cracked and peeling paint enhancing the appearance of decay. This decaying elegance suggests themes of nostalgia, the passage of time, and a quiet sort of endurance amidst change.

Artist

"Aesthetics, color. Silence you want to listen to. Interpretations of nature. A mystery, an intuitive search for emotional truth. I'm not trying to shock. The main goal is to create a harmonious whole on the canvas and to speak the language of painting, to express myself through color, which I consider a powerful means of expression and light, the main axis of a painting."
