More about this artwork

The scene is divided almost into two halves. On the left side, there is a display of various fruits and vegetables aesthetically arranged: a prominent white pumpkin, next to which is a whimsical white squash playfully depicted with a smiley face, resembling a ghost. Accompanying these are a chestnut, a green leaf, possibly spinach or a type of herb, a pomegranate cut open to reveal its seeds, and a small yellow pear. Each of these elements is rendered with a degree of simplicity, highlighting their natural forms. To the right, the setting transitions to what appears to be a kitchen or dining area scene. A shelf holds three glasses and a bottle, suggesting a readiness for serving a drink. Below, suspended from the shelf, there is a fringe or garland decoration with triangular flags, colored in blue with lighter patches that perhaps indicate a decorative or festive intent. Adjacent, on a countertop or a similar surface, there is a pot, featuring a simple, practical design typical of kitchen cookware. Below this countertop, a rectangular object, possibly a rug, displays patterned rectangles within it, providing a cozy domestic detail. A vertical stripe at the far right might suggest a wall or panel closing this scene. The artwork rings with a homely, rustic atmosphere, using washed and muted colors that impart a sense of calm and nostalgia. The inclusion of text in the background imbues the piece with a personal or narrative element, possibly lyrical or poetic, adding a layer of intimacy to the visual exploration.

I am an artist constantly seeking new challenges and a creative flow that allows me to evolve and grow. I graduated in Monumental Art from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, but my creative field is not limited to monumental art. I am equally fascinated by the delicate possibilities of graphic expression. I enjoy diversity in my work—I draw and paint on both small and large formats.

I have been drawing and painting since childhood, with my exploration of the world starting through bright colors and imaginative ideas. Since then, I have been captivated by the vibrant smells and colors of nature. I was so inspired that I even tried creating my own rose petal fragrance! My creative energy didn’t stop there—I often let my imagination run wild, manifesting in unexpected ways, like decorating the freshly painted walls of our new apartment without my parents’ permission. My drawings and paintings appeared everywhere—in the sand by the sea, in the mud, on sheets of paper, and even on snow in the winter.

I draw inspiration from books, music, passersby on the street, nature’s color palette, and moments of solitude. Although I live and work in Norway, I am an active member of the Norwegian Independent Artists Group (NFUK), participating in exhibitions and constantly seeking new ways to express my artistic ideas.

For me, creativity is life—a journey that is always changing and evolving through colors, lines, expressions, and ideas.
