Laura Aitmanė, an artist and a teacher of Art Courses was born in 1987. In 2010 graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts, Kaunas Faculty of Architecture, majoring in architecture; - Kaunas University of Technology, Master of Architecture.
In the autumn of 2020, the first exhibition of Laura Aitmanė and Indrė Gražulevičiūtė-Vileniškė took place in the cafe “Moon Retro” entitled “Fox - Muse”. The main hero of the exhibition is the brown fox - a predator widespread in Lithuanian forests. The spectrum of moods depicted in L. Aitmanė's works: melancholy, longing, happiness, anger, joy, curiosity, determination, etc. The experiences of an animal are no less colorful than those of a human. Expressive portraits of predators are made in an expressive technique: watercolor and dry pastel.
The artist presents a cycle of works called "ABSOLUTE MEADOW". These are abstract floral portraits and plant compositions. The author is interested in wild plants growing in Lithuania, which adorn meadows and forests from early spring to late summer. Laura Aitmanė's style is quite strict, expressive, a bit rough, so the floral portraits lose their intrusive sweetness.
