More about this artwork

The painting showcases a vibrant, eclectic composition filled with various elements and symbols. The central figure appears to be a stylized face, depicted with geometric and abstract features. The color palette is diverse, with patches of yellow, pink, blue, and green creating a dynamic background. Above the figure’s head, there is a black cat-like creature with piercing yellow eyes. To the left, a rocket painted in red, white, and blue soars upwards amidst green vertical structures that resemble financial charts showing upward trends.Throughout the piece, there are numerous references to cryptocurrency, indicated by symbols and texts such as "Bitcoin", "ETH", "XRP", "DOGE", "LTC", and "BNB". Additional text elements include "Altcoin season", "+400%", and various numbers suggesting percentages, likely reflecting gains or importance in a market context.Doodles, scribbles, and miscellaneous shapes add an essence of chaos and energy, playing alongside defined icons like a red flag and a cartoonish blue tiger. The painting exudes a contemporary feel, merging traditional artistic elements with modern digital and financial themes, reflecting a commentary on current socio-economic trends.

Artist

I'm a fashion designer. I am interested in fashion, art, style, photography, science. My free time is dedicated to creative activities. Painting is a big part of my life, it is my hobby - I grew up painting. I owe my ability to paint to my painting teacher, Gvidas Latakas, who gave me the opportunity to look at painting and art in a different way - as a way of relaxation, calming down. I will never forget Gvid's painting lectures, when we used to read Greek myths while painting, and as a result, our imaginations would run wild.

My work doesn't settle on one style/drawing because I don't want to yet, I like to experiment with techniques and styles. However, I do feel that I am leaning towards one style that will reveal itself in my work over time. Most of my paintings and works are born spontaneously. I am caught up in my emotions and cannot stop painting until I have finished the painting. I am not afraid of bold brush strokes, lurking paints, spattering of primer on the canvas and contrast, but at the same time I like soft strokes.

I have had solo exhibitions at the telecommunications company TELIA, Kaunas University of Technology and Kaunas College.

Some of my work is abroad (Iceland, America, England).
My inspirations are ES DEVLIN, Jackson Pollock, Helmut Newton, Sevda Alizadeh (Sevdaliza), Nick Murphy (Chet Faker), Demna Gvasalia, Virgil Abloh.
