More about this artwork

The painting features an abstract face composed of layered, fluid lines and geometric shapes, rendered in subtle hues of blue, gold, and teal against a dark background. The face, seemingly fragmented, integrates elements that resemble a mask with sections that appear hollow or patterned with a grid-like texture. This face possesses a serene expression, with softly delineated eyes, a calm mouth, and a tranquil demeanor, evoking a sense of mystique and introspection. The overall composition is both ethereal and structured, suggesting a fusion of the organic with the architectural.

In 2011 I completed my bachelor's studies (painting) at the Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, in 2013 - I received a master's degree from Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts.

I have been drawing for a long time. Even before I started studying, I discovered an authentic, graphic style and started creating. The empty space of a sheet of paper and black ink made it possible to fulfill all fantasies.

Since I was studying painting, naturally colours appeared in my drawings, I started breaking the rules of academic drawing.

Every drawing is an experience of freedom for me. Freedom to be and create.
