Rimantas Grigaliūnas' paintings are characterised by professionalism, well-mastered colouring, varied emotional mood and are compositionally balanced. The mood is usually bright, optimistic and enriched with certain subconscious visions. In his paintings, the artist pays a lot of attention to his hometown - Klaipėda.The city's distinctive architecture and old houses are often associated with the restless sea, sailing ships and the Dange River. The sea and the seaside are also an integral part of the artist's work. The waves and sand in the paintings are flooded with warm evening light, and the artist pays much attention to its play in splashes and reflections. This creates a unique, romantic ethnographic colouring of Lithuanian seaside.
