Born in 1962, Aleksandras attended Vievis Secondary School and later Vilnius Jonas Basanavičius Children's Art School. There he also completed his secondary education.
In 1991, he became interested in painting. As the artist himself says, he is most fond of painting landscapes of nature, but he is also familiar with Lithuanian farmhouses and narrow city streets, where the artist also discovers their unique beauty. His paintings reveal his own love for the nature of our country.
Aleksandas has always painted in a realistic style. He is interested in urbanism, and therefore enjoys painting cityscapes. He is particularly fond of the Old Town of Vilnius and Kaunas, and his paintings often show the most beautiful places of the cities, the most impressive architectural monuments or wide panoramas from a bird's eye view.
He has participated in various exhibitions in Lithuania, Poland and Canada. Many of his works have gone to the homes of people in various countries around the world.
Since 2008 he has been a member of the Lithuanian Folk Artists' Union.
