Watercolor on paper
Width: 16.9 cm
I don't think too much about the purpose or the message of my artwork. I simply love the emotions I get when painting.
Whenever I'm unable to focus, be patient, gentle or be spontaneous in my daily life, whenever I'm stuck in a rat race and find myself unable to enjoy the moment, I turn to a sheet of paper and watercolour paint.
I've realised that while the water is mixing with the pigment and drying, I'm not in control of any of this. I simply make my brushstrokes while the watercolor is doing it's own thing. Yet in the end I'm always surprised by the result.
All I can say is that I find peace through creativity. This is why my paintings are dreamy, bright, always positive and warm.
