More about this artwork

This painting depicts a serene and somewhat introspective scene looking out of a weathered wooden window frame. Through the panes, one can view a rich and colorful landscape divided into different sections by the framework of the window. On the left, a vivid image of a sunlit forest and lush trees under a bright sky; reflection of these trees can be seen on the surface of what appears to be a body of water. This scene is beautifully contrasted with the soft blues and whites of the sky and clouds reflected in the right panes, showing a more tranquil and open spacescape, possibly a distant mountain or hillside. Each window pane carries either a direct view or a reflection that corresponds with the landscapes, offering a dynamic interplay between light, natural elements, and their mirror images. Notably, a solitary golden apple sits on the windowsill, providing a striking element of still life, suggesting themes of presence, contemplation, or perhaps the passage of time within the tranquil natural surroundings. The choice of colors is muted yet palpable, evoking calmness and a deep connection to the environment portrayed.

Artist

"Aesthetics, color. Silence you want to listen to. Interpretations of nature. A mystery, an intuitive search for emotional truth. I'm not trying to shock. The main goal is to create a harmonious whole on the canvas and to speak the language of painting, to express myself through color, which I consider a powerful means of expression and light, the main axis of a painting."
