Artist

Born in 1962. Studied at Vievis Secondary School, later at the Vilnius Jonas Basanavičius Children's Art School. He also received his secondary education there.

Since 1991 interested in painting. As the artist himself says, he likes to paint landscapes the most. Lithuanian homesteads and city cross streets are not foreign to him either - the artist also discovers their unique beauty in them. The paintings reveal the artist's own love for the nature of our country.

It has always become a realistic style. Interested in urbanism, so gladly become images of the city. I especially like the Old Town of Vilnius and Kaunas. It also became landscapes and still lifes.

Have participated in various exhibitions in Lithuania, Poland and Canada. A lot of work went to the homes of people in different parts of the world.

Since 2008 Member of the Lithuanian Folk Artists' Union.
