More about this artwork

In this painting, a glass vase filled with fresh daisies stands at the center, their white petals and vibrant yellow centers brilliantly contrasted against a rich, moody background. Intermingled with the daisies are several large, spherical blooms of purple alliums, providing a pop of color. The daisies have a whimsical arrangement, with some blooms energetically sprouting outward, giving a lively and naturalistic feel. The vase reflects light delicately, casting subtle reflections and refractions that make the glass look almost liquid. Near the vase, a small, round, possibly ceramic pot adds a rustic touch with its earthy brown tones and textured finish. A swath of dark purple fabric, perhaps velvet, luxuriously drapes under and around the pot and vase, enhancing the opulence of the scene. The backdrop is gently muted, isolating the central arrangement in a haze of soft, indistinct shades that suggest a tranquil, isolated space.

Creativity is an integral part of my life, my greatest hobby, my greatest passion. I graduated from Panevezys Art School and also worked as a florist, maybe therefore I can't imagine my life without the beauty of flowers and nature all around. So the motif of flowers in my works stops the moment and their beauty and becomes eternal.

I am a child of nature, so my greatest desire is to convey the charm of its moments, to tame it and stop the time. I want people to find peace, pleasure and feel good emotions in my work.

A flower as a person: sprouts, blossoms, develops and dies. Life cycle movement allows you to look at the environment more closely, and that's what I am trying to move to. The beauty of life is my greatest inspiration.

I am a fan of realistic impressionism becoming an oil painter. I regularly organize exhibitions all over Lithuania. From 2020 I am a member of the Folk Artists' Union.
