More about this artwork

The artwork depicts an etching of a doll's face, with jagged, chaotic black lines obscuring parts of the visage, suggesting a sense of vandalism or damage. These thick, dark strokes cut across the doll’s face predominantly over the eyes, rendering them nearly unseeable and adding a dramatic, somewhat disturbing element to the image. The doll itself is shown in a stippled style, providing texture and depth, with its eyes wide open, which contrasts starkly with the harsh black marks. The expression on the doll's face is frozen in a placid yet eerily blank state, enhancing the overall unsettling effect of the piece.
