More about this artwork

The painting depicts a solemn, elderly figure with a complex, translucent halo-like structure around the head, under a dark circular form that might suggest a total eclipse or a void. The figure’s garment is richly textured, featuring cascading elements that resemble both technological motifs and organic forms. To the figure's side stands a square, robot-like figure with a head resembling an early television set, supported by what appears to be a slender pole or stand. This robotic companion contrasts with the more richly detailed central figure, emphasizing themes of technology, perhaps interfacing with, or charging, the human experience. The overall mood conveys a sense of introspection and possibly a commentary on the merging or intersection of human life with technology.

Artist

Since childhood I am fascinated by the art. In a family are some artists, who I observed when they were drawing, painting - I used to try to replicate their actions. The walls were painted in colored pencils. In this way I wanted to tame the art closer myself.

I graduated from Kaunas Art Gymnasium, where I  touched the art in professional way. I met with the main directions of art, I had the opportunity to work with various art techniques. In this way I discovered the cutest soul technique for me. After school I graduated studies of interior design. In addition I spent a lot of time drawing and until now I draw. Creation has become an integral part of my life.

In most of my works are visible surreal, sometimes abstract characters. Sometimes I start to create not specifically knowing what I want to portray and what will be the final result. So in the paintings may reflect the mood of certain moment or feeling of nostalgia.
