Rimtautas Špokas never allows himself to feel sad when painting, and this is reflected in his brightly coloured works.
He uses bright outlines, cheerful, pure colours and often chooses to depict stylized images of various animals. Some of them are real, others imaginary, and the artist always tries to give them character so that they bring a smile to the viewer. These paintings are perfect for brightening up a child's room.
He has been actively involved and participates in various visual protests in an attempt to defend the destruction of Lithuanian nature and the Old Town of Vilnius.
Rimtautas' works have been purchased by private individuals in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Germany and, of course, Lithuania.
