More about this artwork

In the foreground, a solitary seagull stands on a sandy beach. Its plumage is a mix of dark and light shades, and it casts a sharp shadow on the sand beneath it, suggesting a bright, sunny day. The beach appears windswept with sparse tufts of grass and small debris scattered around. The seagull’s attention is drawn toward the sea, which occupies the background. The sea is depicted in tumultuous waves of blue and white, indicating a brisk wind. The vibrant contrasts of blues in the water blend with the pale sand and deep shadows, creating a dynamic interplay of color and movement typical of a lively coastal scene.

"I like to see and discover something simple and at the same time special in everyday life. It can be the beauty of nature, the behavior of children, or the inner state of an older person. It is important for me to convey to people the feelings experienced, the plasticity of forms, and the uniqueness of colors, because painting is not only a visual language; painting is the language of sensations (feelings)."
