More about this artwork

The painting depicts a striking scene centered around a woman with a serene and pensive expression. Her long dark hair is adorned with elegant golden accessories that suggest a connection to an ancient or mythical culture. She wears a vibrant red garment with intricate patterns and embroidery, enhancing her enigmatic presence.Surrounding the woman is a surreal and dynamic environment where the elements of water and wind intertwine. To her left and right, fish swim through the air, blurring the lines between sea and sky. These fish, rendered with exceptional detail and realism, contrast with the stylized, decorative patterns on the woman's dress and the background. The background itself is a vivid display of blues and oranges, suggesting a dramatic sunset or a uniquely colored sky. Whimsical trees with swirling branches stretch across the upper part of the composition, their leaves fluttering as if caught in a gentle gale. The entire scene is imbued with a sense of motion and energy, as if wind itself is manifesting visually, interacting with every element in the painting. The lower section of the artwork is filled with stylized, golden wheat or grass, bending gracefully under the unseen force of the wind. This merges seamlessly with geometric symbols etched directly onto the canvas, adding a layer of mysticism and depth to the visual narrative.Overall, the painting is a rich tapestry of mythology, nature, and symbolism, portrayed with a vibrant color palette and a dynamic sense of movement, inviting the viewer to delve into its depths and uncover the story behind the enigmatic central figure.

Help

I like it when my thoughts end up on canvas or paper. It's great if others like the result. It's even more fun when other people start telling me what they see in them, because it's usually not the same as what I see.

I think that's what art is all about - seeing your reality in a painting made by another person. I don't think you have to talk a lot about what you wanted to portray and why. Unless the painting is directly related to a story that you absolutely want to tell. In the end, it all comes down to one criterion - like it or not. Either your reality rings true in the painting you see, or it doesn't. And all the talk about the folds of the transcendent universe and the shivers of the soul is just a bit of a boast. It's much more simple than that - as my teacher once said, "I draw myself pictures and I feel good".  Telling stories is of course also important. Untold stories, like unpainted pictures, linger in the subconscious and gnaw like worms on an apple.

That's why, if you're an artist, it's much harder not to create, even if you don't have any fans. But if they do, then, oh, that's very flattering. Therefore, just as life is more of an exclamation than a noun, art is more of a necessity than a luxury. At least for me.
