More about this artwork

The painting depicts a pigeon standing on what appears to be a thin ledge or line. The bird is rendered with a high level of detail, showcasing intricate feather patterns. Its plumage exhibits shades of green, gray, and white, with the green predominantly featured around the head and neck transitioning to grays and whites down its body and wings. Noteworthy are the scrupulous details on the wing feathers arranged in a precise, scale-like pattern. The eyes of the pigeon are bright, marked with a red outline, which injects a sense of vitality into its gaze. Its feet are painted in stark red, adding a vivid contrast to the more subdued colors of its body. The background is a simple, unadorned brown that focuses attention on the pigeon itself. The overall composition and color palette give the image a natural yet slightly embellished feel.
