More about this artwork

The painting depicts an abstract, symmetrical pattern that resembles a figure eight or an hourglass. The artwork is divided into two sides, connected by a thin, curvilinear shape in the middle that is outlined in white. Both sides mirror each other in layout but are colored differently—one side with a predominance of orange dots and the other with pink. The painting is dotted throughout with small, brightly colored dots, set against a black backdrop that intensifies their vibrancy. Each side of the figure includes a representation of a small, simple face placed near what would be the "neck" of the shapes if they were humanoid. These faces consist of two eyes and a mouth, rendered in a minimalistic style. The border of the painting features a chain-like pattern with links that alternate in color. The overall feel is intricate, playful, and visually rhythmic, with a strong sense of symmetry and contrast.
