Artist

I am currently studying for a Master's degree at Vilnius Academy of Arts.

Paintings ideas come from observing my own environment and then „steal“ some details of that place. These details tend to find me themselves and then I realize that yes, somehow it must be important to me, and I only realize the importance of moment and detail much later. The characters in the paintings are often influenced by everyday melancholy and in no hurry contemplating with themselves.

I‘m not attached to one technique and tool. I have noticed that I am naturally looking for different ways of expressing myself through painting and that is why the paintings themselves often look different. Often in the same work, oil painting combines with acrylic or spray paint and sometimes with markers. Almost every work is dominated by a figurative composition with large areas of solid color. As if two quite different art trends are merged - easel painting and street art. Most artwork distinguished with contour line and a bright contrasting color palette.
