More about this artwork

The painting depicts a series of shell illustrations on a textured, muted background. It consists of three panels, each featuring different forms and positions of shells. The left panel shows a collection of spiraling shells, light in color, set against a warm beige backdrop. These shells possess intricate patterns and grooves emphasizing their spiral structure. The center panel introduces a contrast with a pair of darker-toned shells alongside a pale, more neutral one. The shells here are rendered with a depth that highlights their shiny, reflective surfaces and shadowed crevices, enhancing their three-dimensional appearance. The right panel continues the theme with two large shells situated prominently at the forefront, their dark, rich brown hues standing out against the lighter, soft background. Smaller, less detailed shells recede into the background, creating a sense of spatial depth and perspective. Each shell is painted with meticulous attention to detail, from the graded coloring to the textural contrasts, reflecting a naturalistic and soft aesthetic. The overall effect is one of quiet understatement and organic beauty, suggesting a reverence for the simple, often overlooked elements of the natural world.

Artist

"Aesthetics, color. Silence you want to listen to. Interpretations of nature. A mystery, an intuitive search for emotional truth. I'm not trying to shock. The main goal is to create a harmonious whole on the canvas and to speak the language of painting, to express myself through color, which I consider a powerful means of expression and light, the main axis of a painting."
