More about this artwork

This painting features a richly textured, abstract collage including various objects integrated into a thick, golden background. Central to the composition is an oversized, vintage clock face, complete with hands, occupying the upper left corner. Below and around the clock are scattered an assortment of elements that suggest mechanical and everyday themes: cogwheels, keys, a magnifying glass, and a pair of spectacles anchor the viewer's attention. A prominent feature is a fragmented porcelain bowl, adorned with a floral pattern, situated towards the bottom center, seemingly floating amidst the texture. Artistic implements like a painter's palette knife and metal forks are embedded in the surface, crossing each other. Along the edges and throughout, smaller items such as buttons and possibly jeweled pieces catch the light and add intricacy. The overall effect evokes a sense of organized chaos, hinting at both the passing of time and the remnants of daily life, perhaps suggesting a deeper narrative about collection, memory, and the intertwining of functionality and art.
