More about this artwork

The painting features a vivid, almost chaotic blend of colors that create a sense of dynamic movement. Dominant shades of red, pink, and orange fill the canvas, punctuated by dark outlines and contrasting spots of blue and yellow. On the left side, amidst the swirling colors, a small, abstract white figure that might be a stylized human or animal is depicted in motion. In the middle of the painting, a black outlined shape resembling an apple rests atop a nebulous blend of colors. To the right, an object that appears to be a sailboat, painted in dark hues with geometric precision, contrasts with the organic, fluid shapes of the rest of the canvas. A mysterious dark form resembling a kite or perhaps a bird hovers near the top edge. The overall composition exudes a sense of freedom and abandon, encapsulating a wild, dreamlike scene.

Artist

In painting, I choose an abstract narrative and expressive style. I relax and let the line move in different directions. I paint without stress. One line, another, and another... Stylization and color gamut are determined by internal needs: emotions, feelings, search for solutions, etc. Created works don't appear on their own. It is an artistic process regulated by internal feelings which has a beginning and end. I am interested in that which is beyond rationale. That which isn't pre-determined or calculated. In art, I nurture authentic, irrational, symbolic plots. It interests me to try the boundary of the unknown. I see painting akin to dancing. If the inside wishes to burst from happiness I don't constrict myself, if it desires to weep I let it happen. Each painting is unique, each painting is my time, a piece of my life for the eyes and soul of the viewer.

I was born and raised in Vilnius. At Vytauto Didžiojo University I obtained art pedagogue qualification and continued art studies at Vilnius art academy stained glass special programme. I participate in group exhibitions and plein air in Lithuania and abroad. I have also organized multiple personal exhibitions.
