About the author
Professional graphic designer, regularly involved in various projects and book illustrations. She has also completed a Master's degree in Art Therapy, which has only encouraged her to further combine contrasts, i.e. portraiture and abstraction.
Neringa's work often features very familiar lines, silhouettes and angles, but also the unexpected, the freedom of the stain, the spontaneous brushstroke or stroke. All the contrasting combinations allow the artist to be more open to experimentation in her work, to reveal in an original way the themes of loneliness, melancholy, and the relationship with oneself and with others that accompany her work. Neringa's characters often turn away from the viewer or look at this reality with eyes that do not see it, emphasising their self-absorption and that the real action is not outside, but inside them.
