More about this artwork

In the painting, a vibrant tree prominently stands in the center, its branches lush and heavily laden with multicolored blossoms. The sprawling canopy is resplendent with a mix of pink, white, and lilac flowers, suggesting the full bloom of spring. Surrounding the tree, the ground is covered with a carpet of similar blossoms, perhaps shaken loose by a gentle breeze. On either side of the blooming tree are two barren trees, their stark white branches a contrast to the central figure’s vitality. The landscape is depicted with undulating hills of vivid green, edged by whimsical, rounded blue bodies of water, atop which float green leaves dotted with dew or perhaps tiny blooms. The sky above merges shades of orange and blue, conveying a time of day where late afternoon meets dusk. Fleecy, white clouds drift peacefully in this sky, completing a scene that pulses with an almost magical, serene vitality.

From a very young age, I knew that my life would be about the arts, and they became an integral part of my life. I have a great love for painting on silk, where the colours flow freely, surprising me with their unique patterns. Nowadays I paint more in acrylics. Most of all, I am fascinated by the beautiful and unique nature, so I use a lot of natural motifs in my work. The paintings are like something out of a fairy tale, the nature, flowers and plants are intertwined with fantastic motifs and decorative elements. Painting is a process that brings a lot of joy, a lot of positive emotions, rest and relaxation, allowing the imagination to become reality. It is a reflection of my feelings, my moods, my inner world. My paintings are dominated by a playful colour palette, bright, light, warm and contrasting colours.

I graduated from the Telšiai Higher School of Applied Arts in 2000.

In 2004 I graduated from Šiauliai University, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Arts and Technology.
