More about this artwork

The painting depicts a windswept coastal scene centered around a white building that looks like a lighthouse with a small adjacent structure. In the foreground, a woman with long, flowing black hair and a simple white dress stands looking towards the lighthouse. She holds a bunch of pink roses in her right hand, near her side. Two minimalist style chairs of contrasting colors, one red and one black, sit next to her, evoking a sense of waiting or contemplation. The sky is rendered in broad, expressive strokes of blue and white, enhancing the moody ambiance of the scene. The grass is painted in natural green tones, adding a touch of realism to the otherwise stylized composition.

When in my childhood I was diagnosed with diabetes, painting became place I could express my feelings and emotions. Within my paintings I could hide from reality, put inside my conscious and unconscious thoughts, my empathies. Art became crucial part of my life, my partner to which I can always tell my story.

With every painting of mine I seek to express an emotion, that is relateble to everybody. Sometimes it is thoughts, dreams and power to reach for his dreams or sometimes its misery and despair or exaustion.

When I create, I hope that my paintings will inspire someone in need of inspiring, they will help to find a bright thought in a sea of darkness or just understand and comfort in a melancholic autumn day. I hope that everyone can find hidden emotion in my art and can feel it at least a bit.
