Nature inspires me to paint. I watch the nature constantly, it seems insignificant, quite nearby, images - objects, grass, trees, bushes, leaves flicker, brushwood. These images I transfer through the filteNature inspires me to paint. I am constantly observing nature, the seemingly insignificant things that are right next to me - objects, grasslands, trees, bushes, the flickering of leaves, flowers, roadside shrubberies. I pass these images, captured in a split second, through the filter of my thoughts and put them on canvas. My view of nature - the landscape - usually becomes abstracted. I want my paintings to convey harmony and peace to the viewer, to help detach them from the material world.
I was born in Samogitia - Telšiai district. In 1990 I graduated from the then Telšiai Art Technical College. I graduated as an artist - constructor. In 2002 I graduated from the retraining course of Vilnius Academy of Arts. I acquired the speciality of an art teacher. In 2011 I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Šiauliai University. In the same year I joined the Art Department of Šiauliai University, Faculty of Arts. In 2013 I graduated from the Master's degree in painting. Currently, I devote a large part of my time to painting and teaching. I participate in group exhibitions of artists, I organise personal exhibitions.r of my mind and convey them on canvas. My view of nature - the landscape is mostly abstract. I want the paintings spread harmony and peace, would be a break from the material world.
