"With my painting I want to show people that the world is wonderful, that life needs poetry. I want to draw attention to our little friends, to reveal the forgotten beauty of nature," says the artist.
The most frequent theme of the artist's work is the dog, and although we are used to saying that the dog is man's best friend, these paintings reveal a slightly different side of the relationship between man and his pet. The dog is usually depicted alone in the interior of the house or outside, where only the owner's shadow can be seen: "the animal is dependent on human activity and desires", says the artist, and she wonders whether it does not lose its essential connection with nature when the natural environment is replaced by an artificial one. The artist says that her greatest joy is when the viewer looks at her painting and remembers their pet.
In 2012, she graduated from the Master's degree in Painting at the Kaunas Faculty of Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts.
Since 2016 she has been a member of the Union of Artists.
The author holds solo exhibitions and participates in joint exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.
