This is Op Art. Here and now. Only what you see and what can be seen. But what's here? Such a question may arise in the minds of a frequent potential viewer, so it is necessary to make a brief introduction about what it is.
This is Optical Art. Painting? Graphics? Knowing the still existing understanding of painting in the Lithuanian medium (much, very much thick colours loaded and reloaded, rubbed, shaved, grated and re-greased, cleaned and finally left as it gets because "it will be okay") it would probably be much more appropriate to call my optical captures just colourings. That I would not offend the representatives and apologists of the Lithuanian (?) painting school. Precise drawing and very"boring" disciplined colours. Mostly green on a red background. Minimal measures aim for maximum results; effects on the retina of the viewer’s eye and, through it, on the mental state. Colour shock. Wake up. Stop it. Exit the Matrix.
