Artist

The artist grew up in a family of artists, so painting has been close to him since childhood.

His paintings have evolved over time - mastery only comes after years of practice, but his favourite genre is still landscape. The artist has a sensitive relationship with nature, the images of his childhood summers in the countryside are strongly imprinted in his memory, and even now he tries to spend as much time as possible surrounded by nature. Rimantas's landscapes are flooded with a soft, romantic, even wistful light, they are not swept by the wind or darkened by storm clouds. His favourite motifs are seaside sunsets and dawn-gilded lakes, to which he adds a cosy, warm colouring. The author's works are like the most beautiful summer memories.

Rimantas' paintings are spread all over the world - many of them have travelled to America, Europe and some exotic countries such as Jamaica and India.
