More about this artwork

Two vibrant sunflowers dominate the watercolor painting, their fiery petals illuminated like bursts of sunlight against a moody, shadowed backdrop. The larger flower tilts slightly towards the left, its broad, golden petals slightly ruffled and spread wide, revealing a rich, dark center peppered with hints of lighter speckles. Beside it, a smaller sunflower, echoing the form and colors of its companion, faces more directly forward. Both are perched atop sturdy green stems, surrounded by a few sparse leaves that curl gently around their bases. The background, a blend of deep blues and grays, sets a contrasting, almost stormy atmosphere that enhances the vividness of the sunflowers, making them appear as if they are lights against the darkness.

Artist

In painting, colour is probably the main witness to the story being created. A sidekick of the artist's soul monologue. Colour is used to create a dialogue with the viewer.
My work is dominated by blue tones, which help to reveal a distinctive artistic worldview, full of light, feelings, nostalgic images, memories, capturing moods, moments, states that seem to create an atmosphere of mystery, draws you into the story.
Is a person guided by colour, travelling through the labyrinths of the soul in search of truth, harmony, peace, or does he or she, having achieved spiritual balance, begin to understand the blue colour, which, like a mirage, swirls around us, but maybe it is just a vision, a joke in the brain?
For me, creativity is not only about the harmony of colours, textures and composition. It is the transformation of the world around me into distinctive images, a subjective artistic text.
