More about this artwork

The painting depicts an eerie, dilapidated building that appears to be an ancient, haunted mansion or castle. It’s architectural style hints at Gothic influences with tall, narrow windows and prominent towers that aspire skywards, each capped with what look like battlements or turrets. The structure’s stonework is meticulously detailed, showing signs of decay and age with ivy and other overgrowths partially covering its surface. The central focus is an arched doorway leading into shadowy depths, suggesting an inviting yet foreboding entrance.Above the mansion, the sky swirls in tumultuous shades of blue and grey, possibly indicating a storm or simply the supernatural ambiance of the scene. Ethereal, ghost-like figures emerge around the building, enhancing the haunted aspect of the house. These transparent apparitions appear to be in motion, swirling around the building as if trapped in an eternal lament around their once grand home. The overall atmosphere of the artwork is mysterious and chilling, inviting the viewer to delve into the ghostly history that might pervade this haunting structure. The use of light and shadow, as well as the subtle color palette, beautifully conveys a feeling of decayed grandeur and spectral presence.

When in my childhood I was diagnosed with diabetes, painting became place I could express my feelings and emotions. Within my paintings I could hide from reality, put inside my conscious and unconscious thoughts, my empathies. Art became crucial part of my life, my partner to which I can always tell my story.

With every painting of mine I seek to express an emotion, that is relateble to everybody. Sometimes it is thoughts, dreams and power to reach for his dreams or sometimes its misery and despair or exaustion.

When I create, I hope that my paintings will inspire someone in need of inspiring, they will help to find a bright thought in a sea of darkness or just understand and comfort in a melancholic autumn day. I hope that everyone can find hidden emotion in my art and can feel it at least a bit.
