More about this artwork

The painting depicts a stylized representation of a saxophonist. The figure is composed of bold, black brushstrokes that suggest the form of a human musician, caught in the throes of playing their instrument. The saxophone, merging fluidly with the figure's face and body, creates an abstract, intertwined form that emphasizes the fusion of artist and art. Emphasized curves and swelling lines evoke the melodious and soulful essence of saxophone music. The simplistic two-tone scheme—black on white—focuses attention on the contours and the movement within the artwork, highlighting the expressive nature of the musician’s performance.

Artist

I could talk about each piece separately. Mostly I create only from what I myself experience and live in one way or another. I believe that the emotion that I experience remains in my work, it's not just an image or just a graphic, a spot and a line, there is a feeling on the piece of paper and it hovers around the piece wherever it is or wherever it is. Basically, I want to spread joy and positivity through my work, which I feel myself" - says the artist.
