Rimantas Grigaliūnas's paintings are compositionally balanced; they are characterized by his ability to depict various emotional moods through his masterful choice and management of colours. The mood of his paintings is usually bright and light ,as it has optimistic vibes, and does not overlook certain visions of the subconscious . The artist devotes a lot of attention to his hometown - Klaipėda. The city's distinctive architecture, the old houses are often mentally connected with the choppy sea ,sailing ships, and with Dangė river. All off this helps to create a romantic ethnographic imagery of Minor Lithuania , which is very different from the imagery of other Lithuanian cities.
