More about this artwork

The painting depicts a large, lightly textured full moon centered on a muted, soft grey background. The moon is detailed with gentle, swirling brushstrokes in shades of white and light blue, giving it a radiant, ethereal glow. Subtly breaking the circular boundary of the moon are several triangular and trapezoidal shapes pointing outward, creating a fragmented, almost shattered effect around the edges. These shapes add a dynamic and abstract element to the otherwise serene and monolithic moon, suggesting a delicate balance between wholeness and disruption. The overall atmosphere is tranquil yet evocative, inviting contemplation on the interplay between light, texture, and form.
