Algirdas Zibalis was born in 1960 in Šiauliai.

Works as a teacher.

Artist mostly focus on the watercolor, especially to the landscape genre. Emotional images of native land is conveyed by the subtle artistic language. Author perfectly manages complex watercolor techniques. Rich colors freely flowing coloring different seasons, disclosing the nature and it’s status change. In the landscapes dominate simple nature motives, seems so familiar and close: silhouettes of slim trees in the background of bright sky, hills or unexpected gusts of wind. Colors are transparency, light, wide spillage.

The author is able to observe the natural beauty of the simplest motives, which in the watercolor sheets are transformed into magnificent symphony of Lithuanian landscape. Realistic art direction, convivial, mostly lyrical images make the aesthetic impact to the viewer.
