More about this artwork

In the painting "Focusing On Light" by Ramūnas Naumavičius, two ethereal figures resembling angels are depicted, emanating a soft, warm light. They stand opposite each other, surrounding a small, glowing candle placed on a simple round table between them. The angels are adorned with large, expansive wings that stretch out and slightly upwards, enveloping the scene in a sense of grace and serenity. Their faces are gentle and contemplative, illuminated by the candle's light, which casts a luminous glow that highlights their tranquil expressions and the smooth contours of their robes. The background is a textured blend of blues and golds, suggesting a celestial or undefined space that enhances the mystical and serene atmosphere of the scene. The light from the candle radiates outward, touching everything with a golden shimmer and focusing the viewer's attention on the small flame as the central source of light and warmth in the composition. The overall mood is one of calm and spiritual reflection, invoking a sense of intimacy and sacredness.

Ramūnas Naumavičius' workshop has an artistic atmosphere as soon as you stop at the door, which is decorated in the Eastern style - the artist is convinced that he should not only live beautifully himself, but also make others happy. It is impossible not to be infected by the positivity of this man - Ramūnas is convinced that life should be guided by the basic laws of the universe - goodness, truth and patience.

The artist tells us that his ambition when painting a picture is to spread goodness, good mood and positivity. He takes a philosophical approach to art. According to Ramūnas, true art is to make a person good, to make the negative positive and the black white. You will be surprised to hear that there are no angels in Ramūnas' paintings. The winged creatures in his paintings are good people who do good without expecting anything back. In his latest paintings, the artist explores the theme of light as a universal good that permeates ourselves and everything around us. These paintings are mysterious, showing silhouettes of nature emerging from the fog and rays of light piercing the mist.

The artist has a strong interest in Eastern philosophy, and his paintings are created in deep peace and meditation.
