More about this artwork

The painting depicts a dramatic bullfighting scene where a matador confronts a charging bull. The matador, poised and elegant, is dressed in traditional bullfighting attire, featuring a sparkling white shirt under a golden-embellished vest and tight pants, partially concealed by a flowing red cape, held aloft in his left hand to guide the bull's movement. His right hand is gracefully extended back, contributing to a sense of motion and urgency. The bull, powerful and muscular, is portrayed in mid-charge, with its head lowered towards the ground, horns thrust forward as if ready to strike. Its body is a mix of dark tones that suggest both its mass and the shadow it casts, with distinct, lighter strokes indicating the taut muscles under its fur.The background is a mottled mix of earthy and warm tones, maybe indicating the sandy arena, with textural strokes that give a sense of a crowded, chaotic environment possibly representing the spectating crowd, which adds to the intensity of the scene. The colors are predominantly reddish-brown with touches of white and black, resonating with the theme of danger and violence inherent in bullfighting. The overall composition captures the tension and the perilous dance between man and beast.

Help
Artist

For many years now, I have had a brush in my hands every working day. And not as the usual artist, but special. It is the main tool with the help of which teeth are born in my hands. I am a dental technician. In the laboratory I make prostheses, which in their anatomy and color must reproduce the former human tooth as much as possible. The modeling is performed by layering ceramic masses with a special brush, as a result of which the anatomical shape and color of the tooth is obtained, which is as close as possible to other teeth.

And here comes the ability to feel colors, spatial forms, create optical illusions. With the help of a ceramic color palette you have to achieve the desired result.

After strenuous work, to relax, I take the artist’s brush in my hand and the hand itself teaches the thoughts I convey on the canvas.
