More about this artwork

In the artwork, a pair of hands with elegantly painted black nails gently touches a large, delicate fern leaf. The leaf, illustrated with intricate, filigreed patterns, contrasts starkly against a vast, empty background framed by a soft, incomplete outline of a flower. Delicate lines depict the veins of both hands, enhancing the sense of a soft, tactile engagement. Black cords or lines trail away from the lower part of the painting, adding an element of connection or grounding to the scene. The overall composition is minimalist, using only black ink which highlights the interplay of nature and human touch.

Artist

Since childhood I am fascinated by the art. In a family are some artists, who I observed when they were drawing, painting - I used to try to replicate their actions. The walls were painted in colored pencils. In this way I wanted to tame the art closer myself.

I graduated from Kaunas Art Gymnasium, where I  touched the art in professional way. I met with the main directions of art, I had the opportunity to work with various art techniques. In this way I discovered the cutest soul technique for me. After school I graduated studies of interior design. In addition I spent a lot of time drawing and until now I draw. Creation has become an integral part of my life.

In most of my works are visible surreal, sometimes abstract characters. Sometimes I start to create not specifically knowing what I want to portray and what will be the final result. So in the paintings may reflect the mood of certain moment or feeling of nostalgia.
