Aurelija Bartulytė has recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in painting, but her exhibitions are already planned for the year ahead in major Lithuanian cities. An artist to whom drawing, painting, music and ceramics took critical part in her life has never had any doubt that art is her path.
"In painting and other artistic fields, I try to pour out all the emotions I have accumulated inside, to explore my past, my feelings and my relationships. For me, art is like a silent diary, where I can collect all the pieces and glue them into a story."
Aurelia's aim is to make personal stories universal and interpretable for everyone through her own creative expression. She aims to create a kind of mirror in which people can see not only what the author wants to say, but speak to themselves.
