As far back as she can remember, Lina liked to draw. Since she was a child, she saw her dad painting. It was very interesting to see how the image developed on the white canvas. Those memories helped her decide on a career. She graduated from Kaunas School of Applied Arts and later continued her studies at Vytautas Magnus University, Faculty of Arts. She works as an exhibition curator, so her work is intertwined with her interest in painting. Since 2008, she has been actively participating in painting plein-air exhibitions, exhibitions, and since 2015 in international exhibitions and plein-air exhibitions.
In Lina's works, new worlds seem to unfold, explode and burst, new universes open. Everything here is in constant flux, swirling, bubbling, or moving in slow motion, but nothing stands still. Occasionally, a familiar detail emerges and disappears again. It is as if in a dream, as if in a meditative thought, where we are no longer in control of the situation, but floating on the powerful current of being.
,, ....when I paint, I discover a different world, a different me, new experiences and emotions. It is good to escape from reality and plunge into the depths of imagination, colours and sensations, to appear where the real and the untouchable intersect...."
