More about this artwork

The painting depicts an abstract celestial scene that captures an orbital motion within a universe of dynamic, swirling colors. Dominated by shades of blue and white, the artwork energizes the canvas with bold strokes and splashes of light that mimic the form of a galaxy or a solar system. The central focus is a planet-like object, bathed in aquamarine and encircled by a halo of lighter hues, suggesting movement and energy. The surrounding space is a chaotic blend of teal, white, and dark blue, creating a sense of depth and vastness. Flecks of white scattered across the canvas resemble distant stars, enhancing the cosmic theme. The painting's texture is rich and layered, adding a tactile dimension to the visual experience. The use of color and form evoke a feeling of the mysterious and the infinite nature of space.

Artist

I was born in Panevėžys district, in the village of Stultiškės.  Since 1974 I have been actively participating in group exhibitions and organizing personal exhibitions. Since my early work, I have been interested in extraterrestrial worlds and visions. The aim of my work is to free the viewer's imagination and immerse him/her in unseen spaces, to involve the viewer in the world of my imaginary vision.

My work is inspired by self-analysis, by the human relationship to the world and to oneself. I rely solely on my own imagination, experiences and personal philosophy of life. My paintings are visual narratives, interwoven with mysterious stories, fairy tales, myths.  The canvases are dominated by a palette of warm colours, peace and harmony.

In 2005 she was awarded the status of Artist.
