I was born in 1966 in Rokiškis district, Lithuania. In 1989 I graduated Lithuanian State Art Institute (now Vilnius Academy of Arts). Since 2008 I am a member of Lithuanians Artists’ Association. I mostly work as a freelance graphic designer and a painter. My creative work also includes textiles, digital graphics and poetry. I had more than ten solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions as well.
The path is tempting. The path leads. The path misleads. The path grows...
And above all, it does not let you stop.
There are many ways to travel: physically, virtually, imaginatively...
The path is always a perspective. A glance into the distance, and a glance back. From the perspective of the road. That's why it looks more beautiful there than here. It is not necessary to go into details, it is better to summarise, to look at everything through a mist of soft idealism. Because it is more beautiful. Because it hurts less.
The path can be called an escape from reality. Or a rise above the daily life.
Or maybe the true PATH is actually being in the HERE and NOW? Simply – BEING in motion.
