"I'm Daria. I was born and grew up in Klaipėda, where I attended the art club "Guboja". While studying in Vilnius, the thirst for painting never went away. Later, I lived in Spain for a few years, which further stimulated my inner need to express myself in art. I don't have a goal to choose one direction in painting, but there are themes that attract me the most: nature of warm countries, animals, people, surrealism. I am self-taught, so I try different techniques, but I like to work in oils and acrylics. Painting helps to channel the emotions of my inner volcano into something positive," says the artist, whose work is bursting with exotic blossoms and deep, rich colours. Daria's paintings reveal not only the beauty and perfection of nature, but also man's relationship to it, with women surrounded by wildlife and lush foliage, both side-by-side, like equals. The artist often depicts endangered animal species and often donates to organisations that protect them.
