I'm painter and poet Augustė Daškevičiūtė.
I paint expressive colorful abstractions. I draw inspiration from within, from feelings, confusions, daily chaos and lifes absurdity. Painting for me is like a therapy, meditation, dance, recharging and letting go of build up emotions. It is simply the very big part of my life. I would describe my every painting as a individual part of my own inside world, as a experience. When realized, that the painting is finished, I get a feeling that I let go of something dear and meaningful. Later painting lives it's own life, in a sense, every time revealing itself differently.
