Most of Svetlana's work consists of cycles of paintings, executed in different techniques: oil, tempera, watercolour. Each cycle, whether portraits of women, landscapes of nature or cityscapes, is unique in its philosophy and aestheticism. In watercolour, the artist uses special techniques, rarely used in recent times, and special 50-year-old paper, which gives her retro portraits a unique authenticity. The most common technique used in oil painting is "out of focus".
Svetlana has had 29 solo exhibitions, 21 of them in Lithuania. Svetlana Ovinova's works have also been included in many joint international exhibitions.
