About the author
"In my paintings, I try to use artistic means to reveal the relationship between the environment, nature and human beings; I explore the feeling of fresh air and what it means to me. I also explore the importance of nature for man and the interconnection between them. In my paintings, I draw on natural motifs from reduced reality, photographs, the internet, video and other materials. In my paintings I explore the relationship between nature and man, the spaces and intersections between them. The distance of man from nature is shown through the fragmented space of the painting and the figure within it. As a counterbalance to the dramatically fragmented space, the other paintings convey a more solid, calmer space, and I use the pastosic brushstroke and thin layer painting, and the technique of rubbing in paint, which in my works becomes like a refreshment for the soul, like fresh air."
