Linas' most favorite object to portray is a woman.

He often uses pastels, their softness reveals the outer beauty and gentleness and leaves the inner world in secret. This is why you never know who she is. Is she passionate? Does she like the scent of jasmines? What she dreams about? Is she jealous? Who is she dressing up for? Is she really sad or just pretending? What is she hiding? Is she at least real or just an illusion? 

This is the intrique of Linas' works all these questions are left for the viewer to answer.
