More about this artwork

This painting depicts a narrow city street lined by old, somewhat weathered buildings that lead down to a distinctive, tall bell tower with a bulbous, baroque-style dome and multiple arched windows. The day appears to be slightly overcast, casting a soft, diffuse light which washes over the scene. The buildings have muted, earthy tones, and small details like balconies and street lamps add to the urban environment. A few cars are parked along the side of the street, suggesting a quiet city life. In the foreground, walking down the street, are two figures closely side by side, dressed in casual, contemporary clothes, possibly indicating this is a scene from everyday modern life. The overall mood brought by the watercolor technique is one of tranquility and a slightly nostalgic atmosphere.

I would describe myself as someone who lives with watercolour, immersed within it. I am captivated by its delicacy, its unpredictability, and the special way it responds to water. My inspiration often comes from nature, so flawlessly crafted by God. At the same time, the vibrant energy of city life also draws me in—the noise, the activity, the shifting shadows on buildings in the sunlight, or the reflections shimmering on wet streets after rain. Colour holds particular significance for me; the palette I select shapes the evolution, spirit, and mood of each piece. Through my art, I invite you to imagine, to escape to a place of tranquility and goodness… Enigmatic, yet safe… Wishing you a pleasant journey!
