Artist

Giedrius Kuzmickas is a qualified designer with a degree in industrial and graphic design. He graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. Giedrius applies his knowledge of art, colour theory, composition and aesthetics working as a publishing, editorial and graphic designer as well as a photographer. He also specializes in designing books and magazines and has held senior designer posts in such companies as Harper’s BAZAAR and GEO Lithuania.

Alongside his design work, over the years Giedrius has been developing his skills as a painter, which was his original passion during his study days. His canvasses are full of vivid and unexpected colour combinations, expressive geometric shapes and rich textures. They easily find their place in a modern private or public space, either as single works of art or as grouped displays. The artist currently lives in Vilnius. He has sold his work to art lovers in Lithuania, Europe and Japan.
